Bonded by Butter is an intimate dining experience that brings together art, food, and community in beautiful locations across the country. Curated by husband-and-wife duo Amanda and Joshua, each gathering celebrates the seasons. Joshua creates magic with local ingredients, while Amanda transforms the table into a living masterpiece with her stunning floral designs. It's more than just a meal—it's an experience, a chance to savor the beauty of the moment, connect with others, and immerse yourself in the harmony of nature and culinary artistry.

Born from our love of food, art, and community, Bonded by Butter started in the kitchen at Kinship and Métier in Washington, D.C. Cooking side by side, we learned the dance of creativity and precision, which blossomed into a shared passion for bringing people together. Joshua, the chef, and Amanda, now a floral artist, have come full circle—crafting unforgettable experiences that slow time down, creating lasting memories over every dish and bloom.

She transitioned into floral design, bringing her culinary expertise with her—whether it’s the meticulous eye for detail or the appreciation for texture and balance. With every arrangement, Amanda applies the same principles of seasonality and artistry that once guided her dishes, transforming nature into something truly unforgettable. Each piece she creates is a celebration of the beauty found in both food and flowers.
